On August 29, we tried our first Harvest Festival, which was well supported by the community. We sold nearly 80 grass-fed, organic green chile cheese burgers, grilled by Triny Vigil. The aroma of roasted green chile filled the air in the morning, and customers enjoyed chair massages by Trish, owner of Mariposa Body. Dr. Wendy Van Dilla demonstrated her new Erchonia PL Touch laser. Max and Jane, a local producer from Jemez, offered information about their products and sold beautiful air plants. It was a great day at the Co+op.
Even though our harvest event is over, the harvest season is in full bloom. We have delicious, local fruit and vegetables, and the selection will continue to change as the fall season unfolds. Enjoy the flavors and colors of the season.
