• One pizza crust of your choice
  • Pesto
  • Mozzarella, shredded
  • 2 clusters Maitake mushrooms
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • Basil leaves


Preheat oven according to crust directions. Pan sear Maitake mushrooms with butter in a skillet until they are browned and almost crispy (about 10 minutes over medium heat stirring or flipping frequently). Season mushrooms with salt and pepper. Spread pesto over the pizza crust. Sprinkle with mozzarella shreds. Lay the Maitake mushrooms on top of the pizza. Bake until your cheese is bubbly and the crust is cooked to perfection. Remove from the oven and decorate with fresh basil leaves. Enjoy!
